This winter the Barrie Ball Hockey Club’s youth division saw 12 year old William Lowe record an amazing feat. William, a member of the 10-13 year old Maple Leafs was in on every point the team scored. The Leafs tailed 32 goals in their 12 game regular season. William scored 23 and assisted on the other 9. “This is the first time we have a record of any player being in on every goal for their team… in an entire season” said Brian Broley, President of Ballhockey.com. “This is an amazing accomplishment by William”.
One of William’s coaches, Rob Harvey said “”It is pretty amazing when you think about it. I mean, in 36 periods of play, over three months, you’ve got to figure that someone is going to score on a turnover, or a ball is going to bounce off someone and go in, or that a referee is going to miss an assist or something. But 32 straight goals and it never happened. Unreal!”
William’s 32 points captured him the winter scoring title. In fact, he had more goals than any other player had points! This is Williams 7th scoring title that he has won at the club. William didn’t make this feat alone. He recognizes his teammates for being great playmakers and helping him along the way! The streak finally ended during the playoffs after 35 goals and 38 periods when teammate Brendon Turgeon scored a great breakaway goal.

my son played on this team and William is a star and a great team player!- this was our first time in 6 years of ball hockey playing in the winter and I highly recommend it – the kids had so much fun and I saw every single player improve their game under the great coaching.
