Barrie, ON – Ballhockey.com & Ontario Growing Up Through Sports are excited to announce the 2012/13 ballhockey.com Street Series. These two day 3 on 3 street hockey events will take place in Brampton (September 1 & 2, 2012), Niagara (April 27 & 28, 2013) & Barrie (June 1 & 2, 2013). The events will have divisions for men, women & children of all ages and skill levels.
The tournament is founded on the idea of giving back to the community. For every team that registers for the tournament a donation will be made to Ontario Growing Up Through Sports to put an underprivileged youth into ball hockey!
The first event in Brampton will take place in the parking lot of the Powerade Centre on September 1 & 2. Registration is already live at streetseries.info & the event is looking for volunteers for those individuals not able to play. In addition, the Brampton Street Series tournament is aiming to shatter the world record for “most teams in a street hockey tournament”. The record currently sits at 205 teams.
