Summer (June through August)
Fall (September through November)
Winter (December through February)

Adult Men’s Leagues

Ball Hockey Ontario offers Men of all ages an opportunity to turn back the clock and enjoy the great game of outdoor ball hockey. Age specific and skill defined divisions allow club members to participate in the level of play that best suits their experience and age. Each season is 3 months in length starting in March, June, September, and December. All teams are guaranteed 14 games, played at our local facilities. Club members can sign up individually and be placed on a team, or they can enter a team with a minimum of 11 paid players.

There are tiered divisions to suit each person’s skill level with Men’s A, B, C and D divisions. Leagues are also offered for Over 30, Over 35 and Over 40 players which allows more experienced players to continue to play with friends of the same age. Keeping our community healthy and fit through a sport model that is enjoyed by many adults well into their forties, fifties and sixties is our goal.

You have the year round opportunity to play on a low impact surface with minimal equipment costs. We are able to schedule games with input from the participating teams as we build and operate facilities that are 100% dedicated to our sport. Rinks are also available for off-ice training, birthday parties or other community events.

Adult Co-Ed Leagues

Ball Hockey Ontario has been a major force in the development of the unique Co-ed version of the sport of outdoor ball hockey. At our four rink facility in Barrie, 52 teams participated in the 2012 Fall season at our club. Co-ed ball hockey is played both in a competitive environment as well as at a recreational level where the workout at the rink is just a social reason to hang out each week with friends.

All games are played at our local facilities and you can choose from seasons that start in March, June, September or December. Each season is three months in length and all teams will play a minimum of 14 games. Club members can sign up individually and be placed on a team, or they can enter a team with a minimum of 11 paid players. There are tiered divisions to suit each person’s skill level with Co-ed A, B, C and D divisions. Skating skills are not required as all games are played in running shoes.

Adult Women’s Leagues

At our four rink facility in Barrie, more than 900 women play ball hockey within our club. 44 teams currently play in the women’s divisions while ladies are very active in our 52 team Co-ed divisions and many young girls also play in our youth leagues.
