Men's Over 35 & Co-ed World Outdoor Ball Hockey Championships are 9 days away

We are just over a week away from the Men's Over 35 & Co-Ed events at the 2016 World Outdoor Ball Hockey Championships presented by Bauer. The second leg of the WOBHC is taking place at the Athletic Centre in St. Catharines starting on Friday October 14 and continuing through Sunday October 16.

This year the Co-ed event will take a different structure than years past. All the teams will be pooled into one open division and then split into A & B for the playoffs based on the round robin. The 2015 Co-ed Competitive champions, Barrie Warriors, will be back to defend their title. A number of new faces will also be competing with teams travelling in from London, Barrie and Orillia to play.

The Men's Over 35 division is expected to be a highly competitive division this year. Teams from Barrie, Orillia, Aurora, Milton, Vaughn and the USA are all travelling in to St. Catharines to play. The 2015 champions, Burlington Stars, will be back looking to defend their title.

Both the Co-ed "A" and Over 35 divisions will see an additional $1,000 cash prize awarded to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the event.

There are still a few spots available if your team is not yet registered. You can contact Sara at with questions or to get your team signed up!
