It was a game full of back and forth action this afternoon as the Barrie C4 took on Team Saskatchewan in the Bronze Medal game at the 2016 CBHA Canadian National Championship. Barrie got on the board first with a powerplay goal near the end of the 1st period.

The real action was in the second period as the two teams traded goals bringing it to a 2-2 tie half way through the period. Greg Marotta scored the game winning goal with 9:06 remaining in the 2nd period. It was Al Henderson with the insurance when he scored their 4th goal just 28 seconds later.

Excellent goaltending at both ends of the floor kept the ball out of the net for the rest of the game; Barrie C4 won the game 4-2.

Congratulations on bringing bronze back to Ontario!
