Planning for the 2013 Summer season is underway. Please read the attached letter to Team Reps & check out the pricing policy section for our 2013 policies and key league information. Registering early will provide you with the opportunity to save money and we expect to be very busy this season, so take advantage of the savings and let us know you are preparing to play early so we can be well organized for you.
Come out and play the affordable and exciting sport of ball hockey at the Niagara Region's premier facility. Located just off Highway 406 at 16 Melbourne Avenue, the Niagara Ball Hockey Club provides year round fun for people of all ages! This two rink facility runs 7 days a week YEAR ROUND! It features both a full size indoor and outdoor rink for you to play on!
Seasons begin in March (Spring), June (Summer), September (Fall) & December (Winter). Rosters are due near the end of the month prior to the new season, but don't worry; if you do not have a team, you can always sign up as an individual! We are happy to provide an assortment of divisions for players of all skill levels. Men's A, B, C & D, Men's Over 35, Co-Ed & Women's leagues are offered each and every season. Teams play a 12 game regular season and are guaranteed 2 games in the playoffs.
For the younger ones, the Niagara Ball Hockey Club offers programs from 4-17 years old. 4 & 5 year olds are welcome in our Tiny Tot division which focuses on introducing the player to the game with a 10 week program that develops skills and allows them to be applied in a game setting. For youth 6-17 the NBHC house league programs allow children to play in a co-ed league with similar aged youth. For higher skill level players, we offer elite leagues that allow the youth to create their own team and play. This league is perfect for ice hockey teams to keep together in the off season!
The facilities are also available for booking for other activities, school "fun-days", birthday parties or dry-land training! If you want to rent the rink, please don't hesitate to contact us.
