Royal George Invitational

February 20–22, 2026 — Men’s B, C

Royal George Invitational is a premier ball hockey tournament hosted at the Haig Bowl Arena, blending tradition with high-level competition. Taking place February 20–22, 2026, the event features Men’s B and Men’s C divisions (limited entry), with round-robin play followed by single-elimination playoffs. Teams compete for a progressive cash prize and custom set of team jerseys!

Entry fee of $1,200 (taxes included) – Registration deadline is February 10, 2026.

SHOOTOUT – Youth Edition

March 8, 2026 U8, U10, U12, U14, U16

Youth Shootout returns on March 8, 2026, building off the strong momentum and success of our 2025 event. This fast-paced, one-day showcase features teams made up of 4 shooters and 1 goalie, competing across U10, U12, U14, and U16 divisions. Designed to showoff the skills and flair, and the incredible goalie saves, making it the perfect one-day experience for youth teams to kick off the spring!

Entry fee of $200+ tax per team ($50 deposit required at registration) – Registration deadline is March 1, 2026.

Garden City Classic 

April 17-19, 2026 — Men’s B, D, Co-ed Open, Women’s Open

The Garden City Classic takes over Niagara April 17–19, 2026, delivering one of the region’s premier spring ball hockey tournaments. Featuring Men’s B, Men’s D, Co-ed Open, and Women’s Open divisions, the Garden City Classic brings together top teams from Niagara and surrounding areas for a competitive weekend of action! Known for its strong field of teams, and high-energy atmosphere, this event is a staple on the spring calendar, making it the perfect tune-up tournament as teams gear up for the outdoor and summer season.

Entry fee of $850 + tax per team – Registration deadline is April 7, 2026.

SHOOTOUT – Adult Edition

May 2, 2026 — Men’s Open, Co-ed Open, Women’s Open

Adult Shootout hits the floor on May 2, 2026, delivering a fast-paced, high-intensity one-day event! Teams compete in a shootout-style format (4 shooters, 1 goalie) across Men’s Open, Co-ed Open, and Women’s Open divisions, emphasizing skill, creativity, and quick competition. Designed for maximum action and minimal downtime, the Adult Shootout is the perfect event for those wanting to showoff their skill.

Entry fee of $175 + tax per team – Registration deadline is April 25, 2026

Royal Showdown

June 5-7, 2026 U8, U10, U12, U14, U16

Royal Showdown returns to St. Catharines from June 5–7, 2026, delivering one of the most electric weekends on the Ballhockey.com calendar. Ballhockey.com’s signature youth event is hosted at the Canal Rinks, this tournament builds on a highly successful 2025 debut and features U8, U10, U12, U14, and U16 divisions. Teams compete in a professional tournament environment with round-robin play followed by single-elimination playoffs, all battling for Championship Rings. With top-tier facilities, event merchandise, and full photography and videography coverage, the Royal Showdown is a must-play summer event.

Entry fee of $700 + tax per team – Registration deadline is May 24, 2026.

Gateway to Worlds

July 3-5, 2026 — Men’s B, C, D, Co-ed Open, Women’s Open

Gateway to Worlds runs July 3–5, 2026, serving as the ultimate lead-in to the World Outdoor Ball Hockey Championships later in September. Featuring Men’s B, C, and D, Co-ed Open, and Women’s Open divisions, this highly competitive summer event brings together top teams looking to test themselves ahead of the world stage. More than just a tournament, Gateway to Worlds raises the stakes: each divisional champion earns free entry into their respective WOBHC division, along with a team discount on Knapper gear, making it one of the most value-driven events on the calendar. Designed as both a proving ground and a preview of what’s to come, this event is a must-play for teams with championship ambitions.

YOUTH EVENT – NAME TBD

August 14-16, 2026 — U8, U10, U12, U14, U16

This Youth Event (event name TBA) takes place August 14–16, 2026, serving as the summer twin to the Royal Showdown and closing out the youth ballhockey.com tournament calendar in style. Featuring U8, U10, U12, U14, and U16 divisions, this high-energy weekend brings together top youth programs for a professional, championship-style tournament experience. Built with the same standards, atmosphere, and attention to detail as the Royal Showdown, teams will compete not only for bragging rights, but for custom, team-personalized hoodies awarded to divisional champions. With strong competition, polished event delivery, and a summer showcase feel, this tournament is designed to be a must-play for youth teams across the region.

WOBHC Weekend #1 

September 11-13, 2026 — Men’s B, D, Women’s Open

World Outdoor Ball Hockey Championships – Weekend #1 runs September 11–13, 2026, kicking off one of the most historic events in the sport. Established in the 1990s, the World Outdoor Ball Hockey Championships (WOBHC) is one of Canada’s longest-running ball hockey tournaments, carrying decades of tradition, rivalries, and championship moments. Weekend #1 features Men’s B, Men’s D, and Women’s Open divisions, bringing together competitive clubs from across the region and beyond to battle on the outdoor stage. With its iconic atmosphere, high-level competition, and legacy status within the ball hockey community, WOBHC is more than a tournament, it’s a rite of passage. Teams compete not just for titles, but to etch their names into one of the sport’s most storied championships.

WOBHC Weekend #2 

October 2-4, 2026 — Men’s C, Co-ed Open, Co-ed Rec, Over50

World Outdoor Ball Hockey Championships – Weekend #2 takes place October 2–4, 2026, continuing the legacy of one of Canada’s most iconic ball hockey events, established in the 1990s. As the championship series rolls into fall, Weekend #2 delivers a diverse and highly competitive slate of divisions, welcoming teams of all styles and generations to the outdoor stage. This weekend features Men’s C, Co-ed Open, Co-ed Rec, and Over 50 divisions, blending competitive intensity with community-driven participation. From seasoned veterans to mixed teams chasing a championship run, WOBHC Weekend #2 captures the spirit that has defined the tournament for decades – tradition, rivalry, and unforgettable moments under the lights. For many teams, this is more than a tournament; it’s a yearly tradition and a chance to be part of ball hockey history.

October 24, 2026 — Men’s Open, Co-ed Open, Women’s Open

Adult Shootout returns on October 24, 2026, delivering another fast-paced, high-energy one-day event to close out the outdoor season. Built around a shootout-style format, this event emphasizes skill, creativity, and quick competition, making every matchup intense and entertaining. Featuring Men’s Open, Co-ed Open, and Women’s Open divisions, the Adult Shootout is designed for teams looking for maximum action in a short, competitive window. Whether you’re tuning up ahead of winter leagues or just looking for a fun, competitive day of ball hockey, this event delivers nonstop excitement.

Entry fee is $175 + tax per team – Registration deadline is October 14, 2026.

CLASH OF THE TITANS 

November 13-15, 2026 — Men’s A

Clash of the Titans returns November 13–15, 2026 as Ballhockey.com’s premier event, raising the bar with heightened stakes for 2026 (details coming soon!). Widely regarded as the pinnacle of ball hockey, Clash of the Titans brings top teams from across the continent to the historic Haig Bowl Arena for an unforgettable championship experience. This legendary weekend is defined by elite competition and a fully immersive event atmosphere, featuring professional photography, live score updates, exclusive event merchandise, and premium presentation from start to finish. For teams chasing legacy, recognition, and the highest level of competition, there is no bigger stage.

Blizzard Battle 

November 27-29, 2026 — Men’s B, C, D, Co-ed Open

Blizzard Battle returns November 27–29, 2026, bringing high-energy winter competition to the Ballhockey.com event calendar. Featuring Men’s B, C, D, and Co-ed Open divisions, Blizzard Battle has become a seasonal favorite for teams looking to close out the year with meaningful, competitive play. Known for its strong fields and festive atmosphere, this event raises the stakes with standout prizing: each divisional champion receives a full team set of personalized hoodies, featuring an embroidered Blizzard Battle logo on the chest and custom name and number on the sleeve. A perfect blend of competition, community, and premium rewards, Blizzard Battle delivers a winter tournament experience teams look forward to every year.
