The funds were raised through the third annual ball hockey tournament in support of the Boys and Girls Club, which was held in the Metro parking lot at Princess and Barrie Streets on Saturday, July 23. Hall hosted the tournament this year and he was happy with the turnout.

“It was so great to see all the kids with the players and just how much fun they were having,” he said. “It was a special day.”

The Boys and Girls Club is a cause that is close to Hall and he was happy to visit and bring news of the funds that were raised to the kids.

“I used the Boys and Girls Club as a kids so it is important for me to give back,” he said.

The funds raised will go towards a variety of programming at both the Kingston and Gananoque Boys and Girls Clubs.
